Eva Manuel was born on May 29, 1940 to John and Huldah LeBleu in Lake Charles, LA. She was a native of LeBleu Settlement and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church of Iowa, LA. She was a homemaker who loved bingo, fishing, puzzle books, doing word search and dancing. She retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Board as a cafeteria worker after 20 years.
Those left to cherish her memories are sons James “Stump” Manuel and wife Margo of Iowa, LA, Harold Manuel and wife Rose of Lake Charles, LA, Brothers Kenneth LeBleu of Texas, Murphy LeBleu of Ragley, LA, grandsons Dacota, Ty, and Jason and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Douglas LeBleu, and sister Shirley Deshotel.
Visitation will be on Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA from 4pm to 9pm with a rosary at 6pm and will resume Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 8am till time of service. Funeral services will be Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home at 10am. Rev. John Payne will officiate.
