Frank Ervin Mock, Sr., 77, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
He was known by many names; Frank, Big Frankie, Capt. Frankie, Husband, Dad and Poppa. He wore the title of Husband, Dad and Poppa proudly. He was loved by all and a wonderful mentor to many young men in the shrimping industry. Frank met the love of his life, Billie S. Mock in Clute, TX in 1961 and married her in Key West, FL and they enjoyed many years shrimping the Gulf Coast together. He was happiest when he was on the water on a beautiful clear day watching the bags break over the rails. In his later years it was spending time with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren that put a smile on his face.
