Gayle Marie Nelson

Gayle Marie Nelson, 75, of Lake Charles, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Gayle was born to her late parents, Vene and Lucy LeBeouf Landry on September 16, 1946 in Jennings, LA. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was an amazing cook (especially Cajun Cuisine).

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Henry "Joe" Nelson; children, Jeannette Nelson of Lake Charles, Jodie Nelson Sonnier (Keith) of Lake Charles, Pamela Sue Nelson of Lake Charles; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gayle is preceded in death by her step dad, Edwin Carl Kulhman; brother, Hulen Charles Landry of Lake Charles.

A Graveside Service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in the Mausoleum on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 3:00pm.
