Mrs. Minyard was born in Blackhawk, MS. She and her husband of 58 years, Charles Minyard, Sr. moved to Alexandria, LA and later Ball, LA where she resided for the rest of her life. She was an active member of Kingsville Baptist Church for 62 years. She taught Sunday school and kept the Childrens Nursery for over 50 years until the death of her husband. She was also a member of WMU. Her greatest concern was for her family, friends and all the people she knew that had a personal relationship with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed growing flowers and plants, especially ferns which she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Charles H. Minyard, Jr. of Lake Charles; Rev. William (Billy) Minyard of Denham Springs; sister, Mary Sullivan of New Blaines, AR; four grandsons and numerous great grandchildren, also, Judy Brinkerhoff of Pineville, LA who she claimed as the daughter she never had.
A special thanks to Clarity Hospice for their loving care and Carolyn Green for her dedicated care during our mothers illness. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kingville Baptist Church, Childrens Ministry.
