J C Sarver

JC loved the Lord and was a deacon and usher for 39 years at Glad Tidings Church. He loved his family; he was a Godly man and a man of integrity who had a servant’s heart. He took his bible everywhere and loved helping people and having a good time, he was known as a prankster. JC loved fishing and visiting his camp in Arkansas. He was a loving father, husband and friend who will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of seventy years of marriage, Verna Mae Atkinson, three sons; Donald Wayne Sarver and wife Debbie of Las Vegas, NV, Gordon Sarver and wife Delane of Lake Charles, LA., and Kevin Sarver and wife Stephanie of Baton Rouge, LA along with two sisters; Louise Powell of Lake Charles, LA and Ella Mae Brown of Lake Charles, LA., along with thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 9:00am until the time of Service.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles, LA with Rev. Gary Evers officiating. Burial will follow immediately after service at Highland Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA.
