Jamie "Twinkle" (Long) Styron

She was a native of Abbeville, La. and a lifelong resident of Creole, La. Jamie graduated from South Cameron High School class of 1980. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jamie previously worked for Judge H. Ward Fontenot of the 38th Judicial District Court in Cameron. She enjoyed music, traveling, spoiling her grandkids, her dogs and cooking for her friends and family.

Jamie is survived by her husband of 41 years Karl Styron of Creole, La. and one son Cody Styron and wife Jaime of Iowa, La.

She is preceded in death by her two sons: Jody Styron and Matthew Styron, and her parents: Robert Long and Nalva Theriot, and one sister Donna Gaspard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three brothers: Robert Long of Lafayette, La., Carlton Theriot of Creole, La., Kyle Theriot of Iowa, La., two sisters: Beverly Taggard of Lafayette, La., and Theresa Boudreaux of Grand Lake, La. one daughter-in-law: Stephanie Styron and four grandchildren: Carter, Kai, Kenna and Calla.

Visitation will be from 4 PM - 8 PM Thursday, January 6, 2022 and Friday from 8 AM until 10 AM at Hixson's Funeral Home in Lake Charles, La. Rosary will be at 6 PM Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Hixson's. Funeral Service will be 10 AM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hixson's Funeral Home in Lake Charles, La. Burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Creole, La.
