J.D. worked as a Mill Right for 8 years but a total of 18 years for Bearden Lumber Company in Bearden, Arkansas. J.D. loved hunting and fishing, building deer stands, helping his brother work on race cars, and anything else that kept him outdoors!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Winnon Durvis McCann and Dorothy Sue Skinner McCann.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy McCann; son, Johnathan McCann and his fiance', Deven; daughter, Katy McCann; granddaughter, Ember; brother, David McCann and his wife, Sue; sister, Becky Tipton and her husband, Greg; sister, Mary West; and numerous other family members.
J.D.'s wishes were to be cremated and cremation was entrusted to J.E. Hixson Funeral Home.
