Joseph W Conner

Mr. Conner was born in Creole and lived in Grand Lake since Hurricane Rita. He retired from Cameron Communications, was a US Army vet and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Drusilla Conner of Grand Lake; son, Neal Conner and wife, Patricia of Creole; step sons, Frederick Broussard, Mitchell Broussard and Byron "Byjo" Broussard; grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Conner, Shyla Sheree Conner, Kade Lorne Conner; step grandchildren, Logan Laine Broussard, Shyron Alissa Broussard and Jess Aron Broussard.

His service will be, Monday 3pm March 5, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Tim Goodly will officiate. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday 11am-9pm with a rosary at 6pm in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles and resume Monday from 8am until service time at the funeral home.
