Julie Marie Dewey

Julie was born on October 30, 1950, in Alexandria and grew up in Jennings and Lake Charles. She was a 1968 graduate from LaGrange Senior High School. She graduated from McNeese State University, in 1972 with a BA in Education.

In her earlier years, Julie was an English teacher and librarian. She was proud of her 20+ years in the Oil and Chemical Industry. She made many friends as she worked at PPG, Citgo, and Louisiana Pigment.

Julie was preceded in death by her father Albert M. Boulet, mother Willa Foreman Boulet, infant brother Stephen Mason Boulet, and nephew

Brian Thomas Hammack.

She is survived by her husband Robert A. "Bob" Dewey, sister Francine

R. Gray (Bradley) of Sulphur, niece Jessica Lane Hammack of Fort

Lauderdale, Florida.

As per Julie's wishes, her cremation is handled by Hixson Funeral

Home in Lake Charles. A memorial service for family and friends, will be held at
