He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Theriot (Anthony "Tad") and Jessica Menard (Travis); grandchildren, Kelly, Shawnda, Blanin, Jhalea, Ana, and Harlee; great grandchildren, Grayson, Valerie, and Sadie.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roland Joseph Este and Rodney James Este; and grandson, Matthew Menard.
Leonard was a lifelong resident of Cameron and was a commercial fisherman. He was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU football fan. He enjoyed watching football and cooking. He was a very quiet person that kept to himself.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Date and time will be updated as soon as possible.
