Patricia Lynn LaBove

She was born in Dermott, Arkansas and moved to Cameron when she was 20 and it instantly became her home and place she loved to be. As a child, all she aspired to be was a great mother which she accomplished whole heartedly. Trisha was loved unconditionally by her three children but also opened her heart to anyone in need of love or a mother’s touch. She lived simply for love and fun. To her friends she was the center of a good time, essential to a party. Trisha loved to cook, be outside, and was also known for comfort. Being close to her instantly gave anyone a sense of home. Her favorite place was a front porch.

She is survived by her father, Carol Sheffield of Dermott, AK; sons, Trevor LaBove and Logan LaBove of Cameron; daughter, Krystal LaBove of Grandlake; brother, Johnny Sheffield; sister, Kathy Broussard of Grandlake.

Her service will be 11am, January 9, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Tuesday 5pm-9pm and resume Wednesday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Grandlake Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
