Mrs. Priscilla Murray, 73, resident of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, passed Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the home of her daughter. "Chris," as she was affectionately known, was born June 16, 1947, in Lake Charles to Lawrence Riley and Sidonia Trahan Riley.
She loved to craft, sew, and entertain her family and friends of her community. She flourished as a vital part in each and everyone's lives. She loved creating and gifting the pieces of her hard labor. She was a generous woman who always put others needs before herself. Her contagious spirit filled every room with laughter and smiles, but also kept everyone on their toes. While socializing, her favorite drink to have was a huge cup if coffee and her puffer. She never missed the opportunity to watch her favorite game show, 'The Price is Right'. She loved to express herself though dance where she was known as "Priscilla Da Villa" captivating her audience who included her true love, Michael Murray. They were married February 13, 1966. She was known as " mawmaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved
immensely.
Priscilla is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Michael Murray; daughter Tina and Robert Williamson of Moss Bluff, LA; son's Michael and Diane Murray ll of Little Rock, AR and Edward and Trish Murray of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Dawnelle Small, Michael Small, Michael Murray lll, Lauren Aymond, Douglas Murray, Jaron Aymond, Jacob Hoffpauir, Taylor Murray, Samantha Trahan, Kailee Murray, Emilyn Aymond, Shuntonio Pye, Christian Murray, Devin Kolenberg, Kimberly Murray, and Katherine Murray; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Griffin, Savannah Murray, Noelle Murray, Tera Aymond, Asher Aymond, Mariella Hebert, Logan Murray and Emily Martin.
Visitation will be held of Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5pm till 9pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. A Rosary will be prayed at 7pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 8am until time of service at 10am. Burial to follow at Magnolia Westlake cemetery.
