Karen, just now finding out about Marvin's passing. I want you to know that the kindnesses that you & he showed to Cindy & I many yrs ago at Glad Tidings [late 70's]  have not been forgotten.  You & he made us feel so special  but then that's how  you treated everyone which is what made you & him the special  people that you are...., I'm  sorry for your loss,

Carol and I are deeply saddened by Dr Douglas passing. He and you had become dear friends when carol and I needed it. Carol and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Dr D was a wonderful counselor and neither Carol nor myself would be where we are today but for Dr D.

Karen,  Marvin and you walked with me through my darkest days. I will be eternally grateful. Marvin loved, guided, comforted, and brought healing to God’s children. He truly did the Master’s work. What a legacy of faith and service! May God hold you close and bring comfort and peace to you and your family.  Much love!

You two were such a significant part of my life and that of my family. I wish now we had squeezed in one more lunch. He was a guiding light to me and to so many in my family who speak with love and affection for Dr. Marvin. He was a quiet but profound influence to everyone he touched.  I will miss him greatly. His value to those he loved is immeasurable.

Sorry that I cannot attend the service. Marvin was a fine, Christian man who blessed many lives for the Lord including mine! Praying for Karen and the family.    Charley Watson.

So very sorry for your loss. He was  a kind and very gifted counsilor . He came into my life and made a meaningful difference for me ,Ray and our family .  He will be missed . I know he and Ray are chatting now .

I will never forget the way you read a Night Before Christmas, the rides on your bike or the grumbling growls that made us giggle before bedtime.  I remember you standing behind the pulpit and  listening to you deliver the sermons on those Sundays we had come to visit. You came when I needed you and held my hand. I love you grandpa-

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen; two sons, Craig Douglass (wife Jan), Brad Levine (wife Ronnette); and three daughters, Debra Kavanaugh, Karen Belvin, Kathy Brandon (husband Joe); thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
