Vincent Lee "Bug" George

Vincent Lee "Bug" George, 63, of Cameron, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born to his late parents, Harden and Ida George on April 11, 1958 in Morehead City, NC. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, oystering, and most of all being the life of the party.

He is survived by his two daughters, Venika Lekel George and Lakeisha Doucet; one son, Albert Doucet Jr. (Tiffany), all of Lake Charles; five brothers, Tollie Frazier (Clemmie) of Havelock, NC, Harden Thomas Jr. of Moss Point, MS, Dennis George (Cynthia) of Newport, NC, Ronald George (Mary Jo) of Lake Charles, Isiah George of Havelock, NC; three sisters, Vera Lee Frazier of Havelock, NC, Mary George (Malcolm) of Havelock, NC, Alvina Brockington (William) of Havelock, NC; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife of nine years, JoAnn George; three brothers, Lorenzo George, Donald Ray George, and Harvey Lee George.

A Celebration of Vincent's life will held at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 5:00pm, with Rev. Lannis Joseph officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 3:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date in Havelock, NC.
