William was a native of Lake Charles and resident of Hayes. He had a huge heart and loved big, especially when it came to his family. Williams biggest enjoyments in life were his grandchildren and fishing with his son. The hobbies that William enjoyed were watching NASCAR, wrestling and playing his playstation 4.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jonathan Friar and wife Amanda Benoit; daughter, Jessica Friar; grandchildren, Lacey Friar, Emily Friar, Terrance Graham, Ty Bourque, and MyKalah Harnage; brother, Tim Friar and wife Breann; and sisters, Malinda Friar and Beth Neyland and husband Terry.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife DaLonna Saloom.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home officiated by Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux. Burial will be immediately following at Big Woods Cemetery.
