William Curtis Harrington

Curtis was stationed in Germany for his 3 years of service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for PPG for over 33 years and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Department Reserve for 24 years. Curtis was a true American patriot.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents; Colie Harrington and Ines Hebert; brother, Wayne Harrington and one grandson, Tyler Viator.

Curtis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ursula Harrington; son, Patrick Harrington of Lake Charles; daughters, Karen LaRocca and Craig of Lake Charles; Tina Perritt and Sammy of Toledo Bend, LA and Melinda Viator and Tony of Moss Bluff, LA; two brothers, Donald Harrington and Jane of Henderson, LA; Kenneth Harrington and Elaine of Denham Springs, LA. Curtis is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 4pm-8pm with a Rosary at 6pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 9am until time of service. A Latin Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
