

Burnice Louise Vroman, age 91, of Middleville, formerly of Woodland, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010. She was born on September 22, 1919 in Oscoda County, Michigan the daughter of Joel and Sibyl (Johnson) Deyarmond. Burnice was an avid fisherman and gardener. During this past year she took great joy in once again catching fish, berry picking and preserving jams and jellies while being near her family. Burnice was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Woodland and as a member of the quilting circle was responsible for personally making over 1, 000 quilts for underprivileged children abroad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Vroman, in 1995. Surviving are her children, Joyce (Bill) MacKay of Hudsonville and Janet (Ron) Miller of Middleville; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 6338 Velte Road in Woodland. Pastor Jonathan Reid, officiating.
