Frances H. Richardson

Frances H. Richardson, age 95, of Clarksville passed peacefully on January 26, 2015 with her family by her side at Thornapple Manor in Hastings, MI. Frances was born on February 4, 1919 to Arthur and Eliza (Wells) Clark. She was a 1937 graduate of Lake Odessa High School. Frances married Walter "Lefty" Richardson and they spent 71 years together and raised five children before his passing in 2008. Frances had many jobs over the years including doing laundry, cooking at the school, the local grocery store and many years at the local grain elevator and lumber yard. She will be dearly missed by; children Beverly Hewitt, Joan(Dallas) Hunt, Carol (Bernie) Ferris, Bonnie (Ron) Haskins, grandchildren Deborah Hewitt, Martha (Dave) Cutler, Philip (Tami) Hewitt, Timothy (Pam) Hewitt, Richelle (Glenn) Purvis, Heather Sherman, Robert (Heather) Richardson, Johnathan (Lori) Richardson, Billy Knibbs, Suzanne Haskins, Tom (Lori) Haskins, Becky (Eric) Eldridge, Christine Haskins, Cathy (LaDean) Schrock, Dave (Kristina) Haskins, Scott (Heather) Haskins along with many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are; her parents, husband Lefty, son Glen, son-in-law Russell Hewitt, siblings Naomi Gleason, Jean Parker, William Clark, brother-in-law Donald Richardson, special sister-in-law Eva Richardson, grandson Stephen Hunt, granddaughter Frances Marie Richardson, great granddaughter Stephanie Purvis. Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel, 935 4th Ave, Lake Odessa MI 48849 on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held at the Clarksville Bible Church on January 31, 2015 2:30pm with family receiving friends from 1:30pm till time of service.
