Larry Durkee

Larry L. Durkee, 76, of Woodland, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings. He was born February 22, 1936 in Woodland the son of Keith and Nellie (Reagan) Durkee. Larry graduated from Woodland High School in 1953. During his lifetime Larry owned and operated Durkee's Standard Service in Woodland, was employed at the Allis Chalmers dealership in Woodland and was a self-employed farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his son, Randy (Shawn) Durkee of Woodland; grandsons, Dylan and Drew; sister, Darlene (Ken) Smith; 4 nieces and 1 nephew. A memorial luncheon in honor of Larry will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Woodland United Methodist Church, 203 N. Main Street, Woodland.
