Mark Ketchum

Mark Stephen Ketchum, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 28, 2013. He was born to Lyle and Beverly (Wilbur) Ketchum on July 7, 1954 in Hastings, Mi. He attended Lakewood Schools, graduating in 1972. Mark and Barbara Clum were married on October 22, 1977. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. He loved playing baseball with their grandchildren, tending his roses, and shooting targets in the backyard. He was employed as a cement installation/finisher. Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara, sons Jeremiah (Elisa) Ketchum of Clare, Joshua (Jill) Ketchum of Lowell, Jacob (Erin) Ketchum of Indonesia and Jonathan Ketchum of Grand Rapids, sisters Bonnie (Dick) Steward and LouAnn Hoppes all of Ionia, brother Lon (Sue) Ketchum of Lake Odessa, grandchildren Kaleb, Jaden, Neiko, Owen, Morley, Laban and Abigail. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sebewa First Baptist Church with Jeremiah Ketchum officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Tribes Mission, 1000 East First Street, Sandford, FL 32721 to benefit the ministry of Jacob and Erin Ketchum.
