

Barbara Moore, 84, 65-year resident of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away Friday July 24, 2020. She was born March 11, 1936 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Lester Hamblin and Juanita (Barton) Hamblin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sisters Stella Bosse and Sharon Patrias.
Barbara was a homemaker most of her life, who loved playing tennis, baking and decorating cakes and was an amazing seamstress. She also had a beautiful voice and started singing in an adult Choir as a young girl and continue singing for many years. In her spare time, she loved to read, and entertain family during the holidays. Eventually, she began working at Publix Bakery and became a cake designer. Her most important job was being a mother to her 3 beautiful daughters.
Barbara is survived by her beloved daughters Julie Nielsen of Banner Elk, NC., Susan Guriere of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Robin Moore Noland and husband Allen of Huffman, Tx,; 8 Grandchildren - Nicole Boswell, Ethan Boswell, Gina Marie Guriere, Jason Noland (Megan), Nicholas Noland (Ashton), Rachael Noland Mcleod (Joshua), Faith Noland and David Noland; great grandchildren – Aubrey, Marley and Tony Triplett, David Davis Noland, Micah Noland, Ruby Noland, Gage Noland, Kennedy Noland and Grayson Noland. She is survived by her brothers, Leo Hamblin of Columbus, Ohio and brother Gary Lee Hamblin of Kanapolis, NC., and many other special nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service August 8th, 2020 at 10:00am at Dorsey – E. Earl Smith Funeral Home located at 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461.
