

Christopher Scott Blauvelt, born on December 9, 1972, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 52. A resident of Lantana, Florida, Christopher was a kind, honest, devoted, humorous, passionate, beloved, thoughtful, and hardworking.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, Christopher was active in baseball and football as a child, He was musically inclined and taught himself to play guitar. Eventually, he and his mother settled down in Florida.
Christopher worked at Palm Beach State College, where he dedicated himself to making the campus a place of beauty with its lush, green grass. His commitment to his work was matched by the love he had for his family. He leaves behind his parents, Dolores and Damon Fanok, his fiancée Oralee Christian, and three bonus boys and their wives. He was a proud grandfather to Gotham and Scarlett and had made a close, beautiful family.
In his personal life, Christopher loved playing the guitar, jamming with friends, and writing his own music. He played in several bands and had a deep passion for all things Halloween and horror, even creating a group for like-minded enthusiasts. His interest in the paranormal led him to become an investor and start his own group. Additionally, he enjoyed making short films, writing, directing, and editing them.
Christopher grew up Catholic, serving as an altar boy and receiving his first communion and confirmation. He brought light to the lives of his parents and was known for his loyalty to lifelong friendships. The love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren, was immense, and he would have moved mountains for them.
His beautiful spirit and boundless love will forever light the lives of those he touched.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at the Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, located at 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida, on December 19, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the same venue, starting at 7:00 pm.
Christopher will be thought of and missed many times a day by all who knew him. The family extends their gratitude to everyone for the support during this time.
