He was born and raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He served with the U.S. Navy during
WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Rose moved to this area, with his family, in 1957.
He had been employed with the Department of Parks and Recreation of West Palm Beach
retiring 20 years ago. He was a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church
in West Palm Beach, where his funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00AM.
He was preceded in death by his 2 sons; William John and David Anthony. Mr. Rose
is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean, his son Frank William ( Noreen) Rose, Jr.,
4 grandchildren; Amy, Sara, Tracie and Jerry, 6 great grandchildren; Cameron, Brenden, Dylan, Madison,
Austin, and Aydon. He also leaves his brother Gerald Rose in Pennsylvania.
His family will receive friends on Monday evening between 6;00 & 8:00PM. at the
funeral home. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, and he will be
laid to rest immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
