Georgianna "Georgi" Muscarella Kowalski

1947 – 2012

Georgi, my beloved wife, friend and confidant for 33 years, the Good Lord took you from us far too soon but you are pain free, at peace and in a far better place.

You are with our girls Cindy, Missy and your beloved Gidget crossing that “Rainbow Bridge” to be with the rest of your family.

You were a New York girl through and through, proud of your heritage and family. I remember if someone asked you if you were Italian, you would respond by saying “No, I’m Sicilian!”

I was surprised to learn that this New York girl loved fishing and country music. But most of all you loved your Doo Wop music and I will never forget the many concerts we went to and reminisced the good old days with your favorite oldies groups and songs.

You loved your sister Rose (even though you fought a lot) and your nephews Robert, Jimmy and Matt. You were loved by my family as well and I remember the good times we had with my niece Lisa and nephews Rick and Danny. (By the way, say hello to my sister Gloria and tell her I love her and miss her.) You were so close with your Uncle Johnny, Aunt Gracie and Aunt Francis (how ironic that she passed away the same day as you).

You were loved by many and will be missed by all. You touched people in many ways and would rather give than receive and those that came into contact with you will remember you for your warmth, love and generosity.

REST IN PEACE my lovely wife!!! Heidi and I will be with you one day and our family will be whole again. I love you!!

Your sister Rose adds….. Parents die, sons grow up and marry out, but sisters are for life. A sister is the only person in the world who shares the memories of our childhood, our parents, our Shangri-La, our struggles, our sorrows, and our moments of happiness and triumph. My sister is the one person who truly knows me, as I know her. I will miss you sis and love you forever!!!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to The American Cancer Society or similiar foundation to find a cure and prevention of cancer.
