Gordon was born on May 2, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Florida as a child. He graduated from Lake Worth High School. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam war. On his return he completed his Accounting degree at FAU and went on to open his own accounting firm. He married the love of his life Linda Hill-Kopp. He lived a full life with his family always at the center. He had the best sarcastic sense of humor with a love for laughter, music, movies, sports and food. Better known as “Gordy and Poppie” he was loved by all and loved all. His natural ability to meet people and love them where they are at was effortless. He was the most patient, gentle, peaceful man you will ever meet. He was kind, generous and encouraging. He was a devoted and loving husband, beautiful father, proud grandfather and friend, who will be missed more than words can express.
