by his family. He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Joseph served his country during the
Korean Conflict. He was a commodities advisor before his retirement. He moved to this area in 1997.
He was a parishioner of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington. He is survived by; his wife, of
54 years, Joanna, 2 children Christina (Joe) Daugirdas of Palm Beach Gardens and
Christopher (Lucy) Ancona of Lake Mary. He also leaves his grandchildren;
Joseph, Christian, Nicole, Amanda and Megan, 2 brothers; John Ancona, Frank Ancona, and his sister
Grace all in St. Louis. He also leaves a sister-in-law Katherine Theodore, and Theopi and her husband
King Knox, and his nieces and nephews; Eirene Werts, Mairam McFalls, Phillip and Bryon Knox.
His family will receive friends on Monday evening between 6:00 & 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Rita Catholic Church, Wellington at 10:00 AM.
Joseph will be laid to rest immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers
memorial donations to St. Rita Catholic Church, Wellington, would be appreciated.
