When I think of Karina, I think of her contagious smile. She was one of brightest and sweetest girls I ever had the pleasure of teaching. 

I met Karina when she was in Kindergarten, and was lucky enough to be her First Grade teacher. She was such a bright little girl who was always so eager to soak up knowledge. Wendy and I kept in touch through Facebook and it’s been wonderful to see her grow. I’m going to miss her sweet smile.

The day day before school went out for Thanksgiving break Karina told she decided to cut her hair and it surprised me but I loved how she told me that and trusted me enough.

We are praying for comfort for your family. Karina was such a beautiful soul and that smile lit up the room! We will forever treasure our Thanksgiving camping trip with you all. You’re such an amazing family.

Karina is loved by so many people and will now be missed by so many people. She touched the lives of all those around her, children and adults. We were always able to talk about Harry Potter together and she helped so much as a part of the Harry Potter Club. Karina was also in the Teen Trendsetters program and was a wonderful mentor to the younger students. When I first came to the school as a teacher that Karina attended, she stopped me in carline one day and asked if I was Belle. I had met Karina earlier at an event in which I was Belle. My prayers are with the family and I will miss her very much.

Karina was my student in 5th grade and she is so loved. My deepest prayers are with the family and you will forever be missed. My picture is a collage of the top projects that received the highest scores in all my classes and Karina’s project is the one with the coke bottles and her sister Karissa  also created one too. Karina was my student in my first year of teaching. She was such a beautiful and intelligent girl. She was always so very helpful and was always by my side. Her and my son shared the same birthday and I always used to call her my in school daughter. Karina, you were truly a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

My heart breaks for all of you at this time.  Such a beautiful girl,  Karina is gone from us too soon.  I was so glad to get to know my brother, Mike's grand daughters a few years ago.  Nelson and Wendy and Karissa.....I know Karina loved all of you so much. and you all loved her so much.  I will hold her memory gently in my Heart and Mind. I will pray for all of you for peace and comfort and strength.
