

On Thursday, August 20, 2020, Louis Vincent Linton, widower, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, passed away at the age of 97 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Louis came to the US from his birthland in Jamaica in the late 1960’s to make a new life with his family. They settled in New Jersey where he lived and worked for many years before moving to West Palm Beach, FL. Louis lived a long and full life, surrounded by those who love him. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Pearle; brothers, Robert Linton, Eric Walford, Lloyd Walford, and Roy Walford; and sister, Nola Lindo. He leaves behind an extensive family saddened by his loss. Louis will be remembered lovingly by his four children, Opal (Rick), Trevor (Jackie), Earl, and Derek (Jennifer); his six grandchildren, Lotrice (Owain), Astral (Josh), Omar (Eva), Kimberly (Carlton), Nathanial and Christopher (Nicole); his great grandchildren Taylor, Lia, Blake, Gianna, Talia and Liam; sister, Merle (Dinsdale) and brother, Ivan (Faith), along with extended family and friends. The celebration of his homegoing will be held as an outdoor socially distant service on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. There will be an indoor public viewing at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens on Friday evening, September 4, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Louis Linton may be made to the American Diabetes Association
