Just remembering Maria as an always smiling and happy person. We always were bonded by being born a day apart and having a small celebration among ourselves! A joy in knowing, Maria E. Henry.

I will always remember Maria, we dared our birthdays z; mine was the 12th and hers was the 13th! Never forget that laugh that she had and always a pleasant smile and nice words. Rest well, my dear friend and know that I think of you always, very often.

My Sister was an awesome woman of God. She loves the Lord and shared so many wonderful testimonies of His Love and miracles.  We Love abs will miss her very much. She is now resting in paradise waiting for our Lord to come for her. To my family, may the Lord strengthen you and conform you during this time. Remember, to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord as long as you know Him as your Lord and Savior.  God Bless you all.

Accept my heartfelt condolences on the lost of Mother Henry.  Mother Henry was always a loving, kind, and humble soul.  She was  very soft spoken but stern when necessary.  I'm thankful for the years knowing and spending many weekends at her home when we were children. Also, I'm grateful for seeing her recently and being able to talk with her I was saddened to learn  of her passing because you guys are a special family to me and, I also lost my mother so I know how that is.   Despite it not being an easy road,  with God’s grace, he will give you guys the strength and courage to get through this season.

The Officers and members of Jerusalem Temple of the Bride, Banks, Alabama, extend condolences to Pastor & First Lady Alejandro and family on the passing of Mother Maria Henry.  Our heartfelt prayers are sent up to Our Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf to see you through this time. 

When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all he had done for me, my soul cry out halleluiah, thank God for saving me.

That was one of the songs that I remembered you singing. You would get so excited when you hear old gospel songs. You would say, Lisa! sing me that song! When the song begins, you would shout, hallelujah! you were so so excited for the things of God.

I thank you for all the support you have given to my family as well as the church. You were always faithful in your giving. What I loved best about you was your words, "Pastor Al, remember I love you".

I can still hear your precious words in my ears.  You loved to talk. I listen to you so many times talk me to life for long periods of times. Forgive me, because I did not always had the phone to my ears. For this I am sorry. 

"You don't miss the water until the well runs dry".

I am going to miss your voice, but I know that you are still talking right now. As you begin your intercessory prayers before the throne of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ, remember me.  Say a special prayer for me. You will always be in my heard mom. Love you.


Words cannot express in one tribute detail your story, the way I, as a church mother, have seen you operate through the 40 plus years that I have known you.  When I learn of your passing, I grieved to my soul. Nevertheless, I praise Jesus Christ, because I am fully convinced that our Savior has taken you home. 
 
Please pick out a good spot up in glory land for me. I know I will see you soon, and oh what a rejoicing that will be. I love you, and give the family up there in paradise salutations for me.

Grandma was a very loving person. Growing up I always remembered my grandmother being their for me emotionally, and also financially. I  remember  as a child my grandmother will wait until my parents are not looking and would slide a 20$, 50$, 100$ dollar bill into my hands and pocket, and “say don’t tell your parents.” Anyone that knows me, knows that I am not a big fan of cream a wheat and oats but growing up, I always had a taste bud for my grandmother hot cereal. For some strange reason only she understood my taste. My grandmother loved a good laugh and loved to spoil my brother and I. And always reminded us that she loves us very much! I am going to miss her smile, laugh, and of course her famous cream of wheat. I know that she is in a better place, and smiling always and continuously. Love you grandma and will always miss you!

She will be truly missed for her words of wisdom and compassion, her exuberance, generosity and Godliness. As the oldest of ten, I always admired and looked up to you. You've always taught me to keep the faith and pray because God has the last say. I will miss our weekly chats, however I will forever cherish the memories. One fond memory I can never forget was when we went through the shortcut to Clarice house and we laughed so hard when she messed with the tar that took off her eyebrows. Daddy always said, “we are promised three scrolls and ten”. You made it, by the grace of God! I will continue to hold on to your beautiful smile, laughter, and time we spent together. Thus, with utmost avowal we know that our beloved Mother Henry, while absent from the body is present with our Lord. Mother Henry exemplified the true attributes of a nurturing and caring mother who embodied gracefully, a lifestyle of godly reverence and faith. Mother, as affectionately known, was viewed as a caring, trustworthy, wise, and honest person. If you wanted the truth, one could trust that she would deliver it plainly without the bells and whistles. 
She served God’s people well, taking part in the soup ministry and food drives for serving the homeless in our communities and other charitable events. Mother was faithful in service, always bearing with her the most embracing smile and testimony about the Goodness of the Lord.  Mother Henry’s gift of life and contributions to the work of ministry world-wide will never be forgotten. 
The Lord Bless You, And Keep You, Make His Face Shine Upon You, Be Gracious Unto You And Give You Peace.

Words cannot lessen the sorrow or take away the pain you feel right now, but know that we are praying for your family during this difficult time. 

Mthr Henry was actively involved with the Mother's board for over 10+ years before relocating to Florida. As one of the original Mothers, she single-handedly prepared the communion table and assisted the Pastor in serving the bread & wine. 

Like Martha in the bible, she could be seen diligently and quietly working to carry-out whatever ministry help she was assigned to do. Her passionate expression for the love of the Savior along with her gentle persuasion were very encouraging to the other Mothers. Mother Henry's commitment to the service of God is note-worthy.

May the Lord give you, Pastor Al & your family the strength & comfort needed during this time of bereavement.  The Mother's Board: Evelyn Leonard, Francia Brin, Ivette Brooks, Janet Forbes, Jasmine Milliner, Erima Fleming and Julia Simon.

       Mother Henry as she was known to us as
was a quiet and loving Mother of the church. Her smile and quiet personality will be greatly missed. I will always remember you allowing me to call you mommy from the time we met many years ago. The fellowship we shared from the early beginning of the church will be forever in my heart. Take your rest Mother Henry you have been transitioned to glory and is among the angels . Previous in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints.
