Mildred Basil, who loved to be called “Mom or Nana” by her kids and Grandchildren, departed her loving family on August 24, 2021.
Mildred was born in Bermuda on 11/10/1926 to Mother Ellen Usher and Father William Usher.
Mildred was mother to Ernest, David, and Daughter in Law Peggy. She raised her children with love and devotion in West Palm Beach with her husband Emil Basil.
Her hobbies included fishing & Boating with family and a avid gardener, and great love for sports especially, the NFL
She is survived by her Son’s (Ernest Basil, David Basil, Daughter -in-Law Peggy Basil, and Grandchildren Liza Basil, Craig Koren, Tia Hunt, John Hunt, Phillip Basil , Matthew Basil, Cierra Basil, Brian Basil and Great Grandchildren Kai Koren, Noah Basil, Tianna Hunt, Christopher Hunt, Thomas Hunt, Austin Basil, Madison Basil, and Sonny Basil. And multiple Niece’s, and Nephews
Services will be held at Dorsey – E Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home on September 25th at 1:00PM.
