

Maureen Patricia Daab Dechert Trayer was born February 19, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York to
William A. Daab and Mary C. Stetts Daab. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, August 16, 2023, and is smiling and laughing again. Maureen, also known as Mama Mo, spent her childhood in Queens, New York. After high school, she attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Maureen later met and married Francis H. Dechert, II. A few years after the death of her beloved Francis, she established a new home with their six (6) sons in Plantation, Florida and began a new chapter. Years later, she married Robert C. Trayer, now also deceased. Maureen was an accomplished pianist, having been taught and trained in the Classical genre. She was an extremely talented artist, working in various mediums of paint. She was also an avid collector of antiques. Maureen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert C. Trayer; sons Francis H. Dechert, Ill (Sandra), William E. Dechert (Lisa), Christopher W. Dechert (Sherry), John T. Dechert (Deborah), Stephen C. Dechert (Tina), and James M. Dechert (Robin); brothers William A. Daab, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, John Daab (Bunny) of Howard Beach, New York, and George Daab (Antoinette) of Cape Coral, Florida; and sister Kathleen A. Daab (Paul Greaves) of Tampa, Florida. She also leaves behind thirteen (13) grandsons, Francis E. Dechert (Kristen), Jason S. Dechert (Jacquelyn), Justin W. Dechert (Rachel), Kyle E. Dechert (Sirena), Christopher R. Dechert (Ashley), Eric Dechert (KT), John T. Dechert, Jr. (Shawna), Michael S. Dechert (Nicole), Scott P. Dechert (Rachael), Stephen C. Dechert, Jr. (Jessica), Robert T. Dechert (Jessica), Spencer J. Dechert, and Cooper M. Dechert. She is also survived by twelve (12) great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held on October 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of St. David Catholic Church, 3900 S. University Dr., Davie, Florida 33328. Interment will follow at the Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461. Robert Charles Trayer February 6, 1931 - August 25, 2023
Robert Charles Trayer was born on February 6, 1931, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Thomas E. Trayer and Eleanor Krimm Trayer. He went to his heavenly rest on August 25, 2023. Robert enjoyed golf, cheering for his Miami Dolphins, and collecting antiques with his wife Maureen. He retired after working many years for the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas E. Trayer and Eleanor Krimm Trayer, Brother Thomas K. Trayer, and sister Ann Trayer Jones; and wife Maureen P. Trayer. Robert is survived by six (6) step-sons: Francis H. Dechert, Ill (Sandra), William E. Dechert (Lisa), Christopher W. Dechert (Sherry), John T. Dechert (Deborah), Stephen C. Dechert (Tina), and James M. Dechert (Robin). He also leaves behind thirteen (13) grandsons and twelve (12) great grandchildren.
