I am just seeing that Victor has passed away. I am so sorry to hear this. He was such a wonderful guy and I have thought of him and his wonderful family many times over the years. Sending much love and prayers to his family. ❤❤❤

I am 99% sure that this guy, Victor Vargas-Vila, went to the University of Florida with me in the early 1980's.  When I didn't have a suit to wear to interviews, he gave me a $400 Yves St Laurent suit, so I would look more professional.  I had looked for him online several times through the years to thank him, and to reminisce about our studying for tests and laughing through the stress of school.  He was a great guy, funny happy guy, and has been and will be missed.

I loved my dad's godfather very much, he was funny, kind, and a great guy. I feel sad inside me even though it was a long time since I've seen him. When i was a little girl i used to call victor gorilla because he looked like one to me :). My family planned on going to visit Victor but it could not happen. Even though i wasn't with him it felt like he was to me. I feel for you Kim i am very sorry for your loss.

This is Faith a CNA for Wellington 2 north.  Necole and I were so sad to find out that our big guy left us.  Miss Kim he loved you with every fiber of his being.  We hated him being sick but he through it all he always gave us a huge smile and appreciated us.  Made us feel special ...like we made a difference in his life.  We will miss you Mr. V and thank you.

I worked for Victor some years ago and it was some happy, and fun times. Some time he acted like he was the baby of the family.I would tell him "  Because you are the baby you don't have to act like it!!  He would laugh! Anything that we planned in the office he would be the first one to ask me what do you need? He was very supportive.

On Secretary's Day He made it very special for us. 

I know that he is going to be missed. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Gosh, I just heard about Vic.  He was such a pleasure to be around. So much life. When I first came to St Ts he is one  the  big, giant, huge smile I was confronted with. He always made me feel so comfortable. I will always remember Vic.  I particularly remember the story he told of the day he was hit so very hard at UF football training; someone out there call retell it.

Kim, I'm so sorry for your loss. Victor was a great guy who just wanted to see other people be happy. His gentle and caring spirit impressed me in the way he cared for Fr. Bill as he went home to The Lord...and I will never forget how wonderful he was. I know there was a great reunion between them as well as the others who have gone before. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Victor, I am so glad that you are at peace now. You were such a wonderful guy-so kind and generous. You always were so jovial and fun to be around! I will always remember how good you were to all of us and Nana. She loved you so much and you could always get her to have a "Victor" martini and wear a Gator Christmas hat! Thank you for making our family yours and thank you for making Kimmy so happy for 25 years!
