Wayne W. Orcutt Jr., age 81, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Wayne was born on July 10th, 1943 in Geneva, Ohio. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1961-1964 where he worked with electronics and radar. He then went on to receive a Bachelors of Management Science from Florida Atlantic University. Wayne then worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for IBM for over 30 years. In the words of his brother Roger:
"My brother Wayne passed away yesterday after an eight-month fight with health problems. He never married, but was a very supportive and generous person to his family and friends. While Oonagh and I lived in Texas, Wayne advocated for our mother when she required assistance, When we returned to Florida and Wayne's health started to deteriorate, I told him we would care for him and be his advocate."
Wayne will be laid to rest with his fellow brothers-in-arms at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
