

Born in San Fernando, Trinidad, Betty was a beautiful soul who loved her family. She married Samraj Baliram on December 23rd, 1972. She is survived by her three children, Nichell (Keith) Miller, Nalline Baliram, and Nigel Baliram and two grandchildren, Trey and Colin Miller. She is also survived by her siblings, Saphina (Frank d. 2005) Bharat, Azard (Vera d. 2019) Ali Mohammed, and Jamelia (Errol) Ramsubeik. Betty adored her 28 nieces and nephews.
Betty was very hardworking throughout her life. She worked 20+ years in the accounting field at Ramasir’s Ltd in San Fernando, Trinidad. When she relocated with her family to Florida, Betty was a dedicated and loyal worker at Shuler’s Memorial Chapel for 27 years until her retirement in 2019. Aside from her career, Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, best friend and believer. She believed in God’s eternal love for her. She attended Grace Presbyterian Church for 19 years. In 2009, she later joined Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church, Lake Worth, Florida where she remained a faithful member.
A viewing will be held at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home and Lake Worth Memory Gardens in Palm Springs, Florida on Wednesday October 7th, from 6 pm until 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. A celebration of her life will be at her home church, Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church on Thursday October 8th at 2 pm. Doors will be open at 1:30 pm. Following the service, Betty will be laid to rest in a mausoleum at the Memory Gardens in Palm Spring, Florida..
