Daniel loved things that glow in the dark, stickers, bugs, and stars as well as dinosaurs and Spider Man. Daniel had a hobby of building things out of Legos. He collected numerous sets of Legos from Star Wars to construction sites. He built different scenes and set them up all over his room. He enjoyed playing computer games with his friends and watching Warner Brothers cartoons. He liked to play sports in the front yard including football, soccer and basketball. He was on the basketball team in 6th and 7th grades. He also enjoyed activities like swimming in the pool and playing on the trampoline. Daniel never enjoyed getting his hands dirty, yet he loved being outside and was not afraid of hard work. He had an incredible connection with his mother, Michelle Marie Critser. They were similar in so many ways and enjoyed each other’s company no matter where they were or what they were doing. She helped him by teaching him how to type up papers for school and making projects and reports. They would stay up late reading books for school and talking about anything and everything. Daniel loved spending time with his mother traveling and camping with her and her fiancé. Daniel and his mother never parted without a hug and a kiss and an, “I love you”. Daniel had an amazing bond with his dad, Danny Wayne Critser. They weren’t only father and son, but best friends and buddies. They got really close over the last few years while playing ball and video games, and talking about life. He loved working beside his dad and finding ways to help him. Daniel practiced his cooking skills at Dad’s house because he liked eating at home more than eating out. They loved watching “Hogan’s Hero’s” while eating “Chunky Chips Ahoy” cookies with milk at night. The last words that Daniel and Danny said to each other were, ”I love you.”He was a kind and loving young man who didn’t look at the faults in others. He didn’t judge others and always accepted people for who they were.
