Daniel's childhood was a difficult one due to a life long health issue that kept him from completing school and obtaining a job. But he never quit working at always trying his best. Dan's doctor thought he would be able to drive with his health condition slowing down, and so Dan began driving a truck. His health ultimatley ended that career for him, but he refused to give up. He started taking carpentry classes, and he and his carpentry class built an entire house for Habitat for Humanity. He even helped with the building coding regarding crawl spaces, and lobbied that the space was too small should something happen, so they adjusted the height of the crawl space to make it more accessable as needed.
Dan and his family moved to Colorado. While he couldn't work he loved landscaping and raising chickens, turkeys, and geese. His mother, Georgina, proceeded him in death first, then his father, Morris at the age of 102 in 2020. Dan is survived by his siblings, Bill of Littleton; and Elaine of Germany; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
