This week has been so hard, I wish you and Hector were here to see us to remind us that everything will be okay. More than anything i wish I could just feel one of those tight hugs and kisses you always gave that made everything feel better. I miss you so much, the unity you brought to your family.. I just wish life didn’t have to be this way.. where we lose the most important people. I love you Grammy

Grandma this year has by far been the hardest year of my life, I have never felt so empty. I miss you soo much. Everyday that goes by it seems harder and harder to live without you, nothing will ever be the same, you were the glue that held us together and without you I’m falling apart. Grandma I love you so much, please help me and give me the strength to continue on this journey we call life without you.

Grammy, you were and will always be my first Valentine❤️ I can go on and on with memories there are just so many to chose from, I miss our daily laughs, you having me watch soap operas and game shows all day cause you said it will make us smarter😂 and yelling at the people on deal or no deal. Grammy what are Leo and I going to do without you? Who’s going to sneak Osita corn dogs and pork chops now? I catch my self staring at my phone each evening waiting for you to call us and tell the kids goodnight. Nothing is going to be the same without you. I can’t thank you enough for being my best friend from day one, you loved me for 32 years and I loved you and will continue to love you for the rest of my life. Thank you for staying with us long enough for my babies to love you and take care of you. Please come visit us often when your not to busy watching your shows. It’s not goodbye it’s  Until we meet again. RIP MY QUEEN

Grammy, I hope you are dancing in the sky alongside your son and my brother, I hope that you did get to give that hug and kiss you said you would from me to my brother when you arrived, I’m sure that you are not hurting anymore and you are in a better place, as they say! What a magnificent woman you were, I only wish I knew you longer. Since I came into your family you’ve always been so welcoming to me and Ozzie. Thank you for loving us the way you did! ❤️ I will never forget the kisses and hugs and also your kind words and smiles, I remember you telling me “ I can rest knowing that my Oscar is happy and taken care of” I hope I do you proud. I love you grandma Elsie! You will forever be in my heart, please shine your light on us every chance you get. FLY HIGH BEAUTIFUL ANGEL 👼 

When my brother Jeremiah and I were younger our grandma Darlene used to drop us off at grandmas Elsie’s house before grandma darlene went to work. We would always have a routine when we got to the house. Take off our shoes putting them aside the tv Jeremiah would go sit on the smaller couch to watch tv and I would immediately go get some chips ahoy cookies she had on top of the microwave she always had. Then for lunch she would always make us ramen noodles. Now I know what you might be saying “ there just ramen noodles” well i don’t know what it was but she made them taste like some gourmet noodles. She would chop them up and put ice cubes in them to cool off. They were amazing. Then my brother and I would lay in front of the tv with a blanket and a pillow and would watch tv until we fell asleep waiting for my grandma Darlene to pick us up. I was somehow the good child back then laying down watching tv, on the other hand Jeremiah would always get yelled at by grandma Elsie for running around and misbehaving. After we would wake up before we were picked up she would take us to her room and give us candy. She would always have a stash of duvalin Mexican candy all of the flavors. She would send us home with some candy and some stuff she would have on her table. Maybe thats one of the reason I loved to go there was for the food, but mainly to see my beautiful grandma every chance I could.  

My deepest condolences to the family of Elsie. Have many fond memories of her thru family ties. LOVE & BLESSINGS TO ALL OF THEM. R.I.P ELSIE🙏
