Frank was born on February 7, 1935 in Eldorado, Kansas to Thomas and Euphamia Edwards. He was the youngest of six children and spent his life up until college in the Eldorado and Russell, Kansas areas. While attending Russell High School, Frank met the beautiful Norma Fuller. They were married on September 4, 1955 while he was attending Kansas State University. Upon graduation, Frank went to work for the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Frank and Norma were blessed with four children: Tim, Dan, Nancy, and Nina. Frank earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin and then moved the family to the Washington D.C. area where he continued to work for the Bureau of Land Management. He was awarded both a distinguished service medal and a meritorious service medal from the Department of the Interior during his 35 years of employment there.
Faith and family were the most important aspects of life for Frank and Norma and they devoted their time to supporting their children, volunteering in various places of need, and influencing many to follow Jesus.
They were blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren whom they loved deeply.
In August of 2000, Norma went to be with Jesus. Even in his deep grief, Frank focused on his family and spent time visiting his children and playing with his grandchildren.
In May of 2003, Frank married former Russell High School classmate and longtime friend, Marjorie Evans Durland. They enjoyed 15 years of marriage and resided in Littleton, CO.
