Kathleen "Kathy" Debra Quintana

Kathy was proceeded In death by her parents Alex and Lillian Duran. She was born on November 4, 1950, in Denver Colorado . Kathy passed away on May 18, 2026, at home peacefully in her sleep. Kathy is survived by her children, Daughter Michaele Quintana and(spouse) Chris Carabajal her three grandchildren also known to them as “Monga”, Nick Quintana and granddaughter Serenity (My Rain Flower). Amanda Carabajal and (spouse) Ben Savage, Christopher Carabajal (Bear) and (spouse) Ashley Paiz. Her 3 great grandchildren also know to them as “Monga Monga”, Christopher (My piece of Heaven), Dezamae (My Daisy Flower) and Emilio(EJ) her partner in crime when it came to our Loteria games). Her son Michael Quintana (her baby boy) .Her Daughter Sandra Sifuentes and Granddaughter Zoe Sifuentes. She is also survived by her sister Alexis Martinez (Sandee) and spouse Dr. Albert A. Martinez. Nephews Derrick, Christian and A.J. Martinez, Brother Michael Duran and niece Estrella Duran she is also survived by her Closest and Dearest friend Suzan Montoya and close cousin Susan Phelps.

Kathy was the heart and soul of her family . SHE WAS OUR EVERYTHING! More than anything , She loved having her family over for Sunday Dinners and Holidays , Watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren at her table enjoying her delicious meals that were prepared with love , laughing having fun and of course enjoying her favorite fruit “ Green Apples”. Kathy was a feisty no nonsense woman . She loved her peace and quiet.. but when it came to our Loteria Game nights she was the first to put on her El Gallo chicken hat (SHE PLAYED A MEAN GAME OF LOTERIA!! Kathy was a peacemaker, but a straight-up person who always said what needed to be said. She was a deeply spiritual woman , who prayed the rosary every day . Her prayer card was extensive, if she knew you chances are she was praying for you not just one time but everytime . She prayed for those lucky individuals by name every day. My Momma was ALWAYS SAYING GOD BLESS HIM , GOD BLESS THEM, I Would joke around with her and say Gee Tiny Tim GOD BLESS Everyone !! And we would laugh so hard together.

We were so lucky to have been able to spend time with her this past Mother’s Day . After the celebration with her family she commented that it was the best Mothers Day she's ever had , she commented that she was so blessed to be able to be here and she hoped the good Lord would give her another year. But the Good Lord requested that HIS ANGEL Return Home. We all miss her so very much, but for 34 years she was my brother's

Momma, Confidant, Teacher ,protector and best friend. Oh don’t let me forget chef ! I did mention he was the baby boy right? Lol.. sibling rivalry is real.

Kathy maintained a deep sense of appreciation for life she Lived on her own terms and by the GRACE Of OUR GOD and OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, She died on her own terms. She is DEEPLY MISSED and ALWAYS WILL BE, by all who knew her. She will live on in the countless memories that she shared with numerous individuals during her lifetime.
