Kathryn Elaine Rogers

February 7, 1964 – January 17, 2026

Kathryn Elaine Rogers, age 61, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She was born on February 7, 1964, in Holbrook, Arizona, and was a longtime resident of Lakewood, Colorado.

Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend whose kindness and loving spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was married to her beloved husband, Michael Moore, and was the proud mother of Joshua Rogers, Nathaniel Schibline, and Dominique (Keith) Paris.

Kathryn’s greatest pride and joy was her granddaughter, Kamylah Paris. She was an exceptional Nana to Jayden, Zaniah and Kamylah whom she deeply loved, nurtured, and was always present. The bond between Nana and Kamylah was special and unwavering; Kamylah adored her Nana, and Kathryn’s love for Kamylah knew no bounds.

She is survived by her sisters Dawn Bennett (Richard) Gloria Harris, and Marti Cooper, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She shared a special bond with her cousin, Milton. Kathryn also cherished her spiritual sisters, Gloria Matzke and Becky Pickett, along with many others who loved and treasured her dearly.

Kathryn was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith was central to her life, and she found great peace and joy serving in and attending the temple. She was known for her gentle heart, her compassion for others, and her natural instinct to look out for those in need.

Kathryn will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, her deep faith, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 610 Coors Street, Golden, CO 80401, in the Relief Society Room on January 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A reception will immediately follow the service at the same venue.

A graveside service will take place at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO 81503, on January 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
