Manuela Arellanes-Castillo

Manuela, conocida cariñosamente como Nana, es recordada como una mujer fuerte, trabajadora y un gran ejemplo de madre amorosa y dedicada para sus cinco hijos. No había un solo día en que Nana no se preocupara por su familia y no hiciera todo lo posible por ellos. Ya fuera llamando solo para saber cómo estaban o cocinando deliciosos tamales, empanadas y pozole, Manuela siempre encontraba la manera de expresar el amor que sentía por su familia, un amor que perdurará en los corazones de todos.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Chame, Othon, Lupe, Yolanda y María, así como sus hermanos Pedro, Catalino, Chimano, Loreto y Herminia, y numerosos nietos y bisnietos.

El velorio de Nana se llevará a cabo en Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Capitol, ubicado en 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226, el 15 de diciembre de 2025, de 10:00 a 12:00 horas. Posteriormente, se celebrará una ceremonia religiosa en el mismo lugar, de 12:00 a 13:00 horas.

Manuela se reunirá con su esposo, Juan Pérez, en el descanso eterno en la funeraria y cementerio Olinger Crown Hill, ubicada en 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, el 15 de diciembre de 2025, de 2:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m. Posteriormente, se ofrecerá una recepción en su domicilio, ubicado en 6825 W Mississippi Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226.

Los portadores del féretro y portadores honorarios serán Michael, Piti, David, Rigo, Ismael, Isaac, Sayas, Tony y Julian.

Manuela Arellanes-Castillo, born on October 12, 1934, in Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 91. She was a resident of Lakewood, Colorado.

Manuela, mostly known as Nana, is referred to as a strong woman, hard worker, and a great example of what an amazing and caring mother looks like in the eyes of her 5 children. There was never a day that Nana wasn't worrying about her family and doing everything possible for them. Whether she was calling just to check in, or cooking delicious tamales, empanadas, and pozole, Manuela always found a way to share the love she had for her family- a love that will live strongly on in all of their hearts.

She is survived by her children Chame, Othon, Lupe, Yolanda, and Maria, as well as her siblings Pedro, Catalino, Chimano, Loreto, Herminia, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nana's visitation will take place at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Capitol, located at 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226, on December 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A religious ceremony will follow at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Manuela will join her husband, Juan Perez, in Heavenly rest at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on December 15, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, A reception will follow the burial at her Home, located at 6825 W Mississippi Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will include Michael, Piti, David, Rigo, Ismael, Issac, Sayas, Tony, and Julian.
