I know it has been years since seeing Nancy,  but she definitely lives in my heart! So many wonderful fun and fond memories of times growing up together that will never be forgotten! I know she is at peace, but my heart is broken for her family and friends and the loss of her presence  in their lives.
Words alone can never express the love and compassion I would like to surround the family with at this time, but just know I love you all!

I will always remember the first day of school in ninth grade when Nancy transferred from Saint Bernadettes Catholic school to Creighton junior high first hour class teacher was taking role and when she called out in Nancy Little she stood up at attention and said present! The teacher looked at her and smiled and said you’re from Saint Bernadette‘s aren’t you she said yes ma’am I am she said you just need to say present or here you don’t need to stand up I was so impressed with her from that day forward what a class act  What a beautiful soul she was the entire time I knew her


My most memorable years occurred in my youth while attending St. Bernadette’s Parochial School in Lakewood and becoming friends with Nancy.  I remember to this day when the Little family and their 6 kids arrived from Iowa mid-year bringing new life to many grade levels and new friendships for the Burris family.  Between the Burris six and the Little six, all 8 grade levels likely had a Burris or a Little.  Our parents likewise,  destined to become close friends.   
Nancy and I were inseparable for years  until school districts separated us in junior high and high school.   One of my very favorite memories with Nancy was winning a 3-legged race at our annual field day event. We spent hours and hours perfecting our skill to take first place.   I remember the many slumber parties at the Little home and many overnight stays which included Friday night grocery trips with Mr. Bill Little.  I am grateful for the memories with Nancy and the years of friendship between our families. I am specifically grateful to Vi for being there to help our family cope and carry on following  our mother’s massive stroke in our youth. 
Our prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time.   May Nancy Rest In Peace.
