

Robert Emmett Mulcahy, 58 of Denver, Colorado died on June 15, 2014 in Denver from natural causes. Robert was born on October 5, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to his parents, John and Elsie Mulcahy. Robert was one of eight brothers and also was blessed with two sisters. Robert grew up in South Denver and attended Our Lady of Lourdes School. He later attended South High School. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Industrial Design in 2005 from Metropolitan State University of Denver, in Colorado.
Robert was an especially talented as an artist and inventor. Robert started out in sign painting and was well respected for his work with numerous businesses in Metro Denver. And when Robert was not painting something for someone, he was busy inventing something to sell. Robert often approached his family and friends to invest in his latest and greatest invention. Robert was a very creative person. Later in life, Robert also became a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Robert assisted many people with quality of life issues such as smoking, relieving stress, weight control and dealing with pain.
Robert was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved to travel via his bicycle. When Robert was in his late twenties he bicycled across Western Europe and England. A few years later, Robert bicycled across the United States from Seattle, Washington to North Carolina.
Robert loved family holidays and traditions. His nieces and nephews would always look forward to his creative face painting at the family's annual 4th of July picnics. He also loved playing Santa Claus for his nieces and nephews on Christmas Eve.
Robert never married. Was preceded in death by his parents John and Elsie and his two sisters, Kathy Kolenc and Mary Sellers all of Denver. Robert is survived by his seven brothers, John, Daniel, James, Donald, William, Thomas and Richard and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary Prayer Service for Robert will be held on Monday 6:30 p.m. June 23, 2014 at Advantage Runyan Stevenson Chapel, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, Colorado. A Mass of the dead will be held at 12:30 p.m. June 24, 2014 Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2200 S. Logan Street, Denver, Colorado. Robert will be cremated and his remains will be buried with his parents at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
