Rosalie Lorraine Maez (Gonzales)

Rosalie Lorraine Maez passed away June 6, 2021. She is preceded in death by Father Bernie, and Brother Ben. Grandchildren: Catherine, Little One, and Charles. She leaves behind her beloved Mother Sally, Daughters, Lenora and Angela, and son in law Benito; grandchildren: Letecia, Lena, Luciana, and Patrick. Siblings: Theresa (Tulie) and Bernie (Jr.) Several nieces and nephews as well as several great neices and nephews and quite a few Godchildren, and many extended family members and friends. Rosalie retired from The Secretary of States Office in Wyoming after 28 years in her respected title as a Production Efficiency Officer. Rosalie lived and loved life and was always willing to take care of others before herself. Her grandkids were her life and she enjoyed her time with them all. She loved listening to and dancing to her New Mexico music and would often times grab you randomly and start dancing. She often took pain so that others did not have to. She was a beautiful soul and touched everyone who came to know her. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 9am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Denver. A Rosary will be said at 9:30 the same morning. A Memorial mass will be held at 10am following the visitation and Rosary. Rosalie will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery following her Mass. Due to COVID 19 restrictions no viewings will be held at this time. Those who cannot attend the Mass are welcome to pay condolences to the family through the online obituary.
