Tim worked at Yellow Cab of Denver/Boulder for 17 years, eventually becoming president and chairman of the board. It was during this time that he met the love of his life JoAnn, at Mother Cabrini Shrine. Upon the sale of Yellow Cab, Tim began a career in real estate, eventually starting his own business, the Seaman Real Estate Company. Tim was creative and an entrepreneur, gifts he passed down to his daughters, Molly and Hannah.
In addition to these talents, Tim loved sports. He never missed a Broncos or a Rockies Game and had the best memories of playing high school football with his Holy Family buddies. Off the field, he will be remembered for his passion for singing, writing music, and bursting into song at any moment.
Those that knew Tim would tell you that he had a twinkle in his eye and a warmth about him that made everyone feel welcome. He had a generous spirit and would do anything to help those who needed it. His faith was steadfast. He was a parishioner at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community and had a profound devotion to the Blessed Mother, Mother Cabrini, and the Shrine.
After a short, unexpected illness, Tim passed away on December 13, 2022, surrounded by his family. His smile, laugh, and exuberant spirit will be deeply missed by all of the people who loved him, but especially his wife, JoAnn; children, Molly (David), Hannah (Jett), Andy, and Sarah; grandchildren, Layla, Juliette, Sebastian, Rio, and Malachi; siblings, Ted, Priscilla, Tom, and Barb; as well as many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Patricia, siblings Joan and Matt, and father-in-law, John Younger.
In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of Tim's devotion to Mother Cabrini, please make a donation in his name to Mother Cabrini Shrine for the chapel renovations. Donations can be made at www.mothercabrinishrine.org or sent to 20189 Cabrini Boulevard, Golden, CO 80401.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19th at 11:00AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003. Tim will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:30PM. Reception will follow the burial at Mother Cabrini Shrine.
