Andrew Ernest Glasson, age 47, of Newark, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Newark, NJ peacefully in his sleep. Andrew is survived by his parents Marie (Richter) and Andrew Glasson, and five children: Andrew Sean Glasson, Cory Lynn Glasson, Jenna Glasson, Brianna Glasson, Abigail Glasson and three sisters Kimberly Gutierrez, Harriet Meulendyke, and Jean Riley. Andrew is a 1982 graduate of Lakewood High School where he was and outstanding football player. He was also a US Marine Corps Veteran and saw combat in Desert Storm. He was a Sergent when discharged from the Marine Corps. Andrew was a resident of a VA Facility in Newark. Military Honars will be performed at 1P.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the BG William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetary, 350 Proviinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
