

Born in Puerto Rico, he resided in Brooklyn, NY and Lakewood before settling in Jackson 17 years ago.
Dago taught high school at Keansburg High School for 10 years before teaching high school and middle school in New Egypt for the past 5 years. He was also a coach for boys and girls tennis, bowling, volleyball, and lacrosse. Most recently, he planned on coaching baseball this upcoming season. In 2011, he won Coach of the Year. He loved all sports and athletics and completed the NYC Marathon three times. He also loved his New York Mets.
Surviving is his loving wife of 32 years, Marlene; 3 children: Jolene and her significant other Francisco, Jon Christian and his significant other Jessica, Danielle Lavery and her husband Michael; 2 granddaughters: Valentina Noelle and Mackenzie Lily; his mother, Gladys; 2 sisters: Ilse and Selma; and a large extended family and friends who loved him very much.
