Deborah Ann Makuch-Evans, age 64, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, New Jersey. Deborah was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Patricia and John Makuch. She was a retired hairdresser and more recently worked as a secretary with Hunter Office Solutions before retiring nearly 9 years ago. Debi loved to visit the beach and the Homestead Run Pool. Deborah is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas J. Evans; her brother John Makuch. Deborah was predeceased by her parents. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue (Route 70 & Vermont Avenue), Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation arrangements will follow privately.
