

Born in Kingston, PA, she resided in Lakewood, NJ with her family for most of her life.
Graduating from WV Weslyan College in 1973, Diane taught high school theater and English in WV for a few years. She later became a Reading Specialist and worked at Ocean Day School and Lakewood Schools for the past 20 years.
Diane was very active in musical and Community theater and spent several seasons playing Mrs. Fezziwig in the production of Scrooge at the Strand Theater. A devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst, she led the youth group as the Christian Education director and played guitar for the Praise Band there.
She was a member of the South Seaville Camp Meeting Association in South Jersey and spent summers there on the beach with her sister and family. She was extremely active in music and youth education on the campground.
Surviving are her children: Matthew and his wife Bridget of Toms River, David and his fiancée Jaime-Leigh of Manahawkin, and Kiera of Lawrenceville; a sister, Cindy Davis of Pompton Lakes; a brother, Randy Davis of East Earl, PA; her parents, Gordon & Marion Davis; 3 granddaughters: Brynn, Aubrey & Caelyn; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3PM at the First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst. Cremation will be private.
