Domingo "Mingo" Lorenzo

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Domingo Lorenzo (Mingo), cherished as a son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.He peacefully departed on February 18, 2025, at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Mingo was a diligent and skilled professional, excelling as both a computer programmer and HVAC technician with an unparalleled ability to troubleshoot and repair. Founding his own enterprise, D&D Heating and Cooling, Mingo provided steadfast support for his family. Armed with his toolbox and a heart brimming with compassion, he dedicated his days to aiding others—whether fixing a neighbor’s furnace, renovating family homes, or offering invaluable advice. His expertise was matched only by his generosity, always willing to lend a hand and share his expertise with those in need.

In addition to his craftsmanship, Mingo was known for his wit, wisdom, and logical approach to life.

He is survived by his son, Domingo Lorenzo, his daughter, Sacha Laws, grandchildren Isabella Lorenzo and Lorenzo Laws, and preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Maisonet. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services will be held at Iglesia San Francisco de Asís, Aguada Puerto Rico

 Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Domingo Lorenzo (Mingo), amado hijo, hermano, padre, abuelo y amigo. Partió en paz el 18 de febrero de 2025 en el Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Mingo fue un profesional diligente y talentoso, destacándose como programador de computadoras y técnico en HVAC, con una habilidad inigualable para solucionar problemas y realizar reparaciones. Fundador de su propia empresa, D&D Heating and Cooling, Mingo brindó un apoyo inquebrantable a su familia. Con su caja de herramientas y un corazón lleno de compasión, dedicó sus días a ayudar a los demás, ya fuera arreglando la calefacción de un vecino, renovando hogares familiares o brindando valiosos consejos. Su experiencia solo era igualada por su generosidad, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y compartir sus conocimientos con quienes lo necesitaban. Además de su habilidad artesanal, Mingo era conocido por su ingenio, sabiduría y enfoque lógico ante la vida.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Domingo Lorenzo, su hija, Sacha Laws, y sus nietos Isabella Lorenzo y Lorenzo Laws. Fue precedido en muerte por su esposa, Evelyn Maisonet.

Su presencia será profundamente extrañada por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
